Two things to focus on when I step onto the LFO. One, CREASE at the hip. Two, make sure I step onto a clear OUTSIDE edge as opposed to a flat edge.
- Leg (on back crossovers, make sure I have a straight L leg)
- Look – and stay looking
- Crease / LFO
- Toe pick
- Unwind L arm
LEVEL 7 FIELD MOVES – FOUR 3-TURNS
On outside 3-turns, keep the opposite shoulder forward. Don’t let the shoulder pre-rotate. For example, on R outside 3-turn, keep the L shoulder forward (like on a loop jump) and let the edge do the work.
Practise staying on the outside edge. Keep doing the drill when I toe pick close to the L foot. Don’t worry about jumping for now – just on keeping on a clean LFO edge.
