DOUBLE SALCHOW

Skater T at Streatham pointed out that I was dropping my R shoulder and arm. The moment she said it, I realised she was right.

Checklist:

  • Bend
  • Leave the R leg back/behind for longer – “connect the hamstring” (as coach L says)
  • Bring R arm and R leg together at same time
  • Keep R shoulder and arm level (as I was dropping it today – skater T pointed it out)
  • (Jump forwards)
  • Wrap arms in (like Javier Fernandez) rather than “pulling in”
  • Cross feet

Checklist:

  • Bend
  • Forward
  • Toe

CAMEL SPIN

COKS works!

  • Chin – on L shoulder
  • Outside edge
  • Knee bend/crease at hip
  • Shoulder – keep L shoulder in the circle
  • Straighten R leg
