Double loop

Video analysis showed that I’m leaning to the left in the air.  So:

  • Keep L shoulder checked forward
  • On RBO edge, make sure I’m over the R side – weight properly balanced to the R
  • Do ‘Ace of Spades’ take off
  • Take off from the toe (which helps me to get better height – it works!)
  • Lift the R knee and think about kicking the L foot towards it
  • Look at R elbow

Double salchow

  • Shoulder
  • Edge
  • Bend (i.e. holding the edge, get a deep knee bend in order to get more height)
  • Jump forward
  • Look to R elbow – pull arms in to R side along the straight line of the jump
