Double jumps

28th March.  Do drills to practise great air positions.  Keep doing these drills for as many months as it takes to get lovely air position.  (I did drills for many weeks for axel – practising crossing, and it worked for axel crossing!)


Do tiny jumps for the time being:

  • L shoulder forward
  • R shoulder down
  • Small jump
  • Cross knees and keep touch feet together
  • Pull elbows in


SLOW entry – this is about getting the feet together rather than speed:

  • Ace of Spades entry
  • Take off forwards off toe
  • Kick the L foot and knee forward (keeping them over the R foot)
  • Bring the R foot UP towards to tap the L foot
