DOUBLE SALCHOW

Focus currently on:

  • (Before the 3-turn),keep the hands below shoulder height (so that I can “reach for the rope” in order to get some height)
  • Keep R shoulder down (so I am more level/weight into the circle)
  • Look up the rink (and therefore pausing momentarily)
  • “Reach for the rope and pull it into R side of body” – i.e. reach forwards and then pull them into chest

DOUBLE LOOP

“Ace of Spades” pattern on take off:

  • Cross the feet and stay on a fairly flat RBO.  Left foot also on ice
  • Move R foot in shape of the left-hand side of an Ace of Spades (i.e. go onto a stronger outside edge) and then jump when I’m facing forwards
  • KEEP L SHOULDER AND L LEG ON RIGHT SIDE!
