Back to drills again.  Not been making progress on rotation on my double Salchow.  So back to technique:

  • Shoulder, shoulder, shoulder – i.e. keep L shoulder forward and down
  • Bend – i.e. bend L knee after the 3-turn (to get more height on the jump)
  • Knee – i.e. lift the free leg by keeping the R knee near the L knee rather than swinging it around in a circle

Also, coach said to avoid crossing the R foot over the L side.  KEEP THE R KNEE OVER THE R FOOT.  Think of the R leg as moving in an Axel-like fashion.
