Landed a double salchow with perhaps an eighth under-rotation. Got my camera to take a photo of the mark on the ice because I didn’t think it was going to happen again. But then I landed another two! Anything less than a quarter counts as fully rotated apparently. Yay!
REALLY works for me to focus on curling the R arm into the body and staying level. So the new checklist is:
- Shoulder – L shoulder forward
- Curl – R arm curling into the body LEVEL
- (Knee in, toe down) – I didn’t really have to think about this too much. It just kind of happened so long as I kept the R arm curling into the body levelly.
